The Candlelight Story
The difference between a room people walk through and a room people remember is almost always the light.
Candlelight Designs, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles in 2017, but the craft behind it runs far deeper: nearly thirty years of hands-on industry experience in lighting rooms of every kind, from hotel ballrooms downtown to estates in Malibu, backyards in the Valley, and tents on open lawns across Southern California.
We've stayed founder-led and hands-on on purpose. The person who designs your lighting isn't in an office somewhere. He's walking your venue, marking up the floor plan, and aiming the last fixture the morning of your event. That's why planners, venues, corporate clients, and private hosts keep our number saved, and why most of our work arrives by referral: the work is personal, and you can see it in the room.
Some clients want quiet and elegant; others want a real spectacle. Either way, our work has one signature: rooms that feel warmer and more alive the moment you walk in.
Your Lighting Partner, From First Call to Final Cue
We're best known for corporate events, galas, and weddings, but you'll also find us behind fundraisers, mitzvahs, product launches, and backyard celebrations. Whatever the brief, planners treat us as an extension of their own team. We join strategy calls and venue walkthroughs, sketch the room with you, and keep backup fixtures on site so nothing is left to chance.

Certificates of insurance issued same-day. Load-ins that finish early. Backup fixtures on the truck so the look you approved is the look your guests see.

Meet the Founder
You work directly with the founder. A senior crew preps, installs, and runs every event alongside him, but the design, the walkthrough, and the final aim all come from the same person.

Candlelight is Chico's company, and it runs the way he works: nearly thirty years of industry experience, and still the first one on the lift. He designs most projects personally, walks the venue before the proposal goes out, and runs the room on event night.
There's no account manager in between. The person who drew the lighting plot is the one who answers the phone. And when the program changes at 8pm, the decision takes minutes, because he knows exactly what's on the truck.
